Field service engineer
Job description:
Currently, we are looking for a Field service engineer to enforce our Service & Aftermarket team for Northern Europe, reporting directly to our Director Service & Aftermarket. He/she will be based in Metris Leuven, and travel up to 80% of his/her time. The focus will be on the Benelux customers.
Tasks:
- Installation and calibration of new CMM’s at the customer site.
- Execution of service contracts (preventive maintenance)
- Breakdown maintenance
Requirements:
· Master or bachelor degree in technical engineering (industrial engineer or A1)
· languages: English, Dutch.
· Demonstrate good sound competence in engineering, electronics and PC/software based machinery service.
· flexibility and willingness to travel abroad up to 90% (mostly in Benelux)
· spontaneous and open communicator
· able to work independently, strong personality
A plus:
·metrology experience
·experience in a field service job
·CAD/3D experience
·Languages: French, German
